One of the oldest and most cherished traditions in Malinska, “Sensa” or “run for cheese,” is living proof of the deep-rooted pastoral heritage in the local culture.
This custom has been lovingly passed down through generations, symbolizing the unbreakable bond between natural rhythms, community, and the historical identity of Dubašnica. From May 28 to 31, Dubašnica will host the Cheese Festival “Sensa,” dedicated to sheep farming that has shaped the landscape and life of this part of Krk for centuries.
