Malinska Walk & Taste 2026 is a unique gastronomic experience that combines a relaxed interpretive seaside walk with tastings of local island specialities. During the programme, visitors discover the history, heritage and everyday life of Malinska through the stories of a guide, while stopping at carefully selected locations to enjoy authentic flavours of Krk Island. This experience connects nature, culture and gastronomy in a gentle and engaging way, allowing you to discover the destination with all your senses.
What is Malinska Walk & Taste?
Malinska Walk & Taste is designed as a guided tasting walk along an attractive coastal and village route. Participants listen to fascinating interpretations of local history, tradition and identity while enjoying tasting stops featuring traditional island products and specialties.
Recreation, destination discovery and premium local gastronomy blend into one complete experience.
The project aims to organize interpretative walks combined with tastings of local specialties, promote traditional dishes and ingredients offered by Malinska’s restaurants, and raise awareness of the quality and diversity of Kvarner wines.
Local restaurants take part in the event by offering traditional dishes and seasonal ingredients such as lamb, wild asparagus, cheese, curd, seasonal fruit and vegetables, as well as wines made from indigenous Kvarner grape varieties.
