Spring BREAK IN MALINSKA

Spend your spring holiday on the island of Krk with a diverse programme of workshops, guided interpretive walks, cultural storytelling and authentic gastronomic experiences in Malinska. This programme combines natural heritage, tradition and authentic island experiences through educational and entertaining activities for all generations.
Friday – Glagolitic Calligraphy by Candlelight and Wine

Experience a unique cultural programme on the island of Krk through a Glagolitic calligraphy workshop inspired by medieval heritage. Enjoy wine and candlelight while discovering the tradition of the Glagolitic script and the basics of calligraphy.
During the workshop you will learn:

Guided interpretive walk Drmun – a Krk forest phenomenon

Duration: up to 120 minutes
Discover the unique forest landscape of Drmun through a guided interpretive walk and learn how traditional forest management shaped biodiversity and local life.

Interpretive storytelling “Voice of Heritage, Rhythm of Time”
Time: 17:30
Discover the cultural heritage of Malinska-Dubašnica through storytelling about traditional instruments, local cuisine, folk costumes and customs.
Šurlice pasta workshop
Time: 18:00
Learn how to make traditional handmade šurlice pasta, one of the most recognizable gastronomic symbols of the island of Krk.
Other: Workshop on tying nautical knots with an entertainment music program and catering offer.

A €40 ticket is valid for one weekend of the Malinska Spring Break 2026 program, regardless of the number of activities the visitor chooses during that weekend.
