We are honored to invite you to Malinska Walk & Taste, a culinary event taking place every Saturday from May 10th to May 24th, 2025.
This unique experience combines guided interpretive walks with tastings of local specialties, celebrating the traditional cuisine of Malinska’s restaurateurs and showcasing the quality and diversity of Kvarner wines. During this period, participating local restaurants will feature traditional dishes and seasonal ingredients such as lamb, wild asparagus, cheese, curd, fresh fruits and vegetables, and wines made from indigenous grape varieties from the Kvarner region.
Tasting walks will be held in groups on Saturdays—May 10th, 17th, and 24th—starting at the Maritime Heritage Interpretation Center – DUBoak. Each walk will include three tasting stops where participants will enjoy authentic island specialties paired with wines from the island of Krk, while learning fascinating insights into the history and traditions of Malinska.

Duration: 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Group size: Up to 30 participants
Ticket price: €40 per person, which includes:
- A welcome goodie bag
- Three tastings of island specialties paired with Kvarner wines
- Guided walking tour
- Entrance and guided visit of the DUBoak Maritime Heritage Center
- Tourist train transportation
In the evening, on Ivan Klobučarić Square (in front of DUBoak), guests will also have the opportunity to taste a wide selection of Kvarner wines paired with culinary creations by Restaurant Gatto Nero—at promotional prices, accompanied by live music.
